Doniphan Moore Interiors is seeking a dynamic, talented, and hard-working Junior Designer who can provide crucial support across our projects. The ideal candidate should be passionate about design, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. The individual will provide direct support to the Director, Senior Project Manager, and Procurement Manager. This role requires a person who excels in both creativity and technical abilities. What You Will Do: - Will be involved from the very beginning stages of the project through fruition and in direct communication with architects, builders, and contractors - Conducting image research for new projects and preparing mood decks - Drafting furniture plans, elevations, renderings, and custom furniture drawings - Sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, rugs, and decorative objects - Assisting in the preparation of project deliverables as well as client meetings - Communicating closely with vendors, showrooms, workrooms, and manufacturers - Building the office's textile library - Providing support on project installations and troubleshooting - Be responsible for detailed millwork and cabinetry drawings - Space planning and preparation of floor plans, renderings/sketches - Prepare and manage contractor scope of work - Produce construction proposals and bids - Site surveys and measuring - Forward-facing client communication - Assemble construction and finish schedules

Responsibilities: • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance and support to achieve company goals. • Meetings & Communication: Host weekly team meetings, provide operations updates, and follow up with action items. • Clear Communication: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design concepts, project updates, and expectations to clients and team members.

This position works directly under the Junior Designers of the firm and is responsible for supporting the team from development and execution of the design through the form the conceptual and presentation stage, and through the completion of project documents and final installation. Coordinate with project team to develop interior design solutions, schedules, quotes and FF&E Specifications Provide support with all phases of the design process, including: consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment on a wide range of project sizes Must have the ability to use advanced techniques and work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
