You will join a team of interior designers and architects working in a multi-discipline, collaborative, and engaging team-based environment that draws on multiple perspectives in the pursuit of innovative solutions. General Responsibilities in including but not limited to: • Collaborate with project teams during project design phases including programming, concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation • Develop design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, presentation materials, analysis, and construction drawings and schedules • Participate in the construction administration of projects including jobsite visits, review of submittals, and responding to contractor questions • Communicate and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including clients, owners, users, team members, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project objectives • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and participation in continuouslearning • Help deliver great projects with a sense of energy, passion and personal responsibility

Clark Nexsen is seeking a Sustainable Design Expert in Asheville, NC, requiring a Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design and 3-5 years of experience. Responsibilities include collaborating on architectural projects to create innovative, sustainable designs using Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer I to join our team at Clark Nexsen. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of architectural projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply your interior design skills to create innovative and sustainable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, 3-5 years of professional experience, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficient level knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

You will join a team of interior designers and architects working in a multi-discipline, collaborative, and engaging team-based environment that draws on multiple perspectives in the pursuit of innovative solutions. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to shape architectural projects in a variety of typologies and scales for clients that include educational and cultural institutions, commercial developers, government entities, and local communities. The ideal candidate for this position will be energetic and passionate about design, committed to quality, engaged in team, office, and firm-wide initiatives, able to work independently and in a team environment, and able to prioritize work. The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
