The Lead Designer will manage all aspects of client design projects, working closely with the design team to meet deliverables and deadlines while also developing business relationships to bring in new opportunities. Responsibilities Plan, interpret, and manage projects through all phases of development including Pre-design, Schematic design, Design development, Construction and documents, and Construction administrationWork directly with Clients and is the point person for the entire projectApprove purchase orders for design projectsManage the day-to-day needs of the project through other design staff assigned to the project, including design assistant, pricing coordinator and expeditorRender design ideas in form of boards, drawings, or illustrations, estimates, material requirements and costs, and presents design to client for approvalCommunicate with clients and management through Weekly Reports, etcEnsure all the documentation is complete for all projectsSubmission of all proposals to clientsAttend product installations at clients homesApprove accessory presentations from interior stylistCoordinating with client travel schedule, Travel for installations as neededMaintain a log of time spent on each project and enter for time billing as neededDevelop business relationships with builders, architects, realtors and developers to bring in new business opportunitiesAttend Market and meet with Vendor representativesAttend vendor presentationsComplete Friday report and send to Director of Design and CEOBe punctual in attendance and dependable in performanceMaintain a neat, business-like appearanceRepresent the Company in a professional mannerWork closely as a team with everyone in the officeStrong work ethic, attention to detail and self-motivation Skills Demonstrate solid knowledge of the design industry2-4 year degree in Interior Design5+ years' experience as a designer in residential designBasic accounting knowledgeTravel is required on occasion for client projects and continuing educationUtilize computer software Photoshop, Canva, AutoCAD, Design Manager, Word and ExcelThis is an in-office position Benefits

Bria Hammel Interiors is seeking a talented Architectural Interior Designer to join our growing team. The Architectural Interior Designer will manage projects from concept through installation, contributing to both the architectural framework of the home and the full interior design plan that defines Bria Hammel Interiors. • Collaborate with architects and builders during the pre-design and schematic phases of projects • Contribute to space planning, floor plans, and architectural layouts • Develop and detail interior architectural elements including millwork, cabinetry, ceiling details, and builtins • Review and interpret construction drawings and architectural plans • Communicate design intent to builders and contractors during construction • Participate in construction meetings and site visits • Lead the interior design vision for residential projects from concept through completion • Develop furniture layouts and plans for each space • Collaborate with the internal team on pricing, procurement, and installation planning • Create design presentations including boards, drawings, and material palettes • Select and specify: Furniture, lighting, textiles, materials and finishes • Manage projects through all phases including: Pre design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinate with design assistants, pricing coordinators, and expeditors • Manage timelines, budgets, and project deliverables
