Our unwavering dedication to serving our customers across Virginia and the Carolinas is reflected in our diverse array of products, services, and solutions. • Graduate of a four-year program or equivalent work experience with a two-year degree in Interior Design • 2-5 years Dealership experience • Preferred experience in using furniture specifying software • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe and CAP 2020 • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate among a wide variety of audiences • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment • Must be comfortable working in groups and participating in cross-functional teams towards a common goal • Travel as necessary • Possession of a valid NC driver license • Ability to pass the company background and Motor Vehicle Report and the company drug testing requirements. The Interior Design position is responsible for delivering high-quality, cutting-edge commercial office interior design projects that meet or exceed customer expectations. • Develop innovative designs and layouts for various projects • Collaborate with Sales Consultants to gather information for successful design solutions • Analyze site conditions and provide recommendations for improvement • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and team members to ensure seamless project execution • Prepare engaging presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups and renderings) for clients • Provide accurate quotes for clients and ensure timely project completion • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain competitive advantage • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate prices for best value • Maintain knowledge of changes to product environment, product competition, and product discounting • Ensure adherence to company core values and brand standards • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
