Ash Staging

To elevate our staging projects, we are seeking a skilled and versatile Contract Artist to produce custom abstract paintings tailored to our designers’ visions. Produce high-quality abstract paintings based on designer directives and sample references. Match specified dimensions, color palettes, and styles accurately. Proven experience as an artist specializing in abstract painting. Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

HYBRID ROLE: Conduct in-depth site surveys of Active Projects to record the necessary conditions for executing a full design concept, with assistance from the Design Assistant(s) as needed Utilize strong client presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions Create and manage the digital drawing set for all space planning purposes Manage the production of furniture, art, and accessory plans based on guidelines set by the Head of Staging Proficiency in resource allocation to manage budgets and tight deadlines, with ability to quickly and creatively reallocation in response to obstacles Select proposed pieces either from the company’s warehouse, or via new purchases, for furniture, art, and accessory selection for Head of Staging review and approval, subject also to Senior Director of Projects comments Select paint colors for the production of paint schedules Compile all design documentation in a concise design concept for each project Manage vendor relationships on a per project basis, including submit their invoices to finance Oversee internal company painters for any custom commissioned paintwork, either on canvas, or in situ (murals, etc.) Shop online and in person for items to be used in the design of projects Oversee the day-to-day installation of projects and collaborate with the company’s Warehouse and Installation teams for receivables / deliveries Apply effective conflict resolution skills to address challenges and foster a collaborative team environment Day-to-day management of project budgets set by the Head of Staging and tracked by the Senior Director of Projects Manage project timelines and make any necessary updates and/or changes in order to stay on assigned timeline under the direction of the Senior Director of Project Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in adjusting project priorities as needed to meet changing demands Proficiently navigate the company’s proprietary software for inventory and project m
