About the Role: The Director of Design oversees the firm’s design output across all projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The Director of Design leads the three main design departments, FF&E, Construction, and Technical, with a dotted line to Procurement (reporting to the Director of Design Operations). This role collaborates closely with the Principal Designer on both macro and micro-level design decisions while managing day-to-day client communications and ensuring expectations are aligned with project progress. • Collaborate with Procurement (reporting to the Director of Design Operations) to ensure that purchasing and vendor execution align with design intent. • Manage client expectations, address feedback, and maintain strong client relationships.

Position: Summer Interior Design Intern Location: Calabasas, CA (On-site) As our Summer Interior Design Intern, you’ll support our design team through all phases of the design process. Responsibilities include: • Assisting with sourcing furniture, textiles, and materials • Organizing samples, vendor materials, and client presentations • Creating mood boards and concept decks • Supporting the design team with project installs and site visits • Helping with studio tasks and day-to-day operations What We’re Looking For • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design or a related field • Strong eye for design and attention to detail • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop); SketchUp is a plus • Strong communication and organizational skills • A self-starter who thrives in a team environment • A passion for interiors and the Amber Interiors aesthetic

Designer of FF&E is responsible for assisting in selecting and managing furniture, lighting, and fabric elements for various projects. Designer will work closely with the Sr. and Project Designers, Technical Team, and Procurement Team to contribute to successfully implementing FF&E elements from concept to installation. Design & Selections: • Assist in the selection process for furniture, lighting, and fabrics, ensuring they align with the project’s design direction and client requirements. • Collaborate with the design team to support the development of furniture layouts and customization details. • Ability to travel to project sites and vendors as needed.

Position Overview: The Technical Designer will be crucial in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various interior design projects. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various interior design projects. • Keep all backgrounds up to date as plan sets are adjusted frequently during weekly design • Create interior plan sets, which include reflected ceiling plans, furniture and power plans, finish plans and interior elevations. • Ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans.
