Acquire4Hire is seeking a Retail Sales Associate/Design Consultant in Ocala, Florida, to engage customers in our showroom and convert traffic into sales. Responsibilities include providing flooring solutions, conducting needs assessments, and coordinating projects from sale through installation. The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated mindset. Although not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of the duties and expectations that we have for this position: • Sell flooring and floor care products • Greet customers on the sales floor, and determine their wants and needs • Keep up-to-date on the wide selection of floors we have to offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each • Provide outstanding customer service • Write sales orders • Help work through, and follow-up after the completion of each job • Build client relationships • Network regularly, and work effectively, with other store employees • Execute targeted sales strategies • Receive payment, or obtain credit authorization • Use computer database to research the availability of merchandise • Follow up in a timely and professional manner with all customers on requests and/or concerns • Assist customers with flooring choices - explaining features and benefits of various types of flooring as well as decorating and design advice • Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean • Prospect for new business The ideal candidate must be: • Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training in order to become certified flooring and design expert. We?re a small, family-owned business with big dreams, and we?re looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer who?s ready to take the reins in our K&B department and then across two retail locations. This isn?t just a job?it?s a pathway to influence and leadership. Requirements • We?re Looking For: • 3+ years in Kitchen & Bath design using 2020 software (multi-line experience preferred) • A strong design portfolio showing off your 20/20 chops • An eye for detail and a passion for customer experience • Experience managing K&B projects through installation • Experience specifying plumbing fixtures is a plus • Interior Design degree or industry certification?
