Residential Designer The Residential Designer will be responsible for creating exceptional kitchen and interior designs while actively driving sales, developing their own sales leads, building customer relationships, and helping grow KFD's residential business. Build and maintain an active pipeline of residential opportunities.Consistently develop new self-generated leads.Respond quickly to incoming opportunities.Maintain regular follow-up with open proposals and prospects.Convert appointments and designs into signed sales.Develop contractor, builder, realtor, and referral relationships.Meet or exceed established monthly and annual sales goals.Track sales activity, opportunities, follow-ups, and results.Take accountability for individual sales performance and pipeline growth.Qualifications5+ years of residential kitchen, cabinetry, interior design, or related industry experience preferred.Strong proficiency with 20/20 Design software strongly preferred.Proven ability to sell products and services in a customer-facing environment.Experience developing leads and building a personal book of business is highly desirable.Strong understanding of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, and/or residential renovation products.Ability to read measurements, layouts, plans, and product specifications.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong closing and negotiation skills.Highly organized with the ability to manage numerous projects and deadlines simultaneously.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities frequently change.Self-motivated and able to work independently without waiting for leads or assignments.Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.Strong computer and CRM skills.Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.Ideal CandidateThe ideal Residential Designer is someone who combines design talent with a strong sales mentality.
