Design Assistant

We are seeking a team player to work with principal and head designer to assist in managing projects and developing design skills.  Collaborate with the principal, clients, architects, and contractors from concept through installation.  Assist Principal in design meetings and in office, assist Principal with schedules, meeting notes, resourcing materials, and relationships with vendors and workrooms  Develop and assist with Design presentations.  Support in specifying furnishings, fabrics, and finishes.  Assist with invoices and purchase orders.  Source products and maintain relationships with industry vendors and showrooms.  Contribute to maintaining and expanding the firm’s design resource library.  Assist with moving furniture in office showroom.
