This position is paid at $1,056 per instructional unit. SLCC Faculty General Description (Appendix 1) – see link below.Link: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..aspxResponsibilitiesTeach one or more Interior Design classes.Utilize e-portfolio for the project.Follow the course curriculum outline, prepare and deliver lectures, and guide classroom activities.Become familiar with, and abide by, all college policies governing interactions with colleagues, staff, administrators, and departments.Maintain professional etiquette in communications with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.Provide appropriate and timely feedback for all assignments and return graded work promptly per department standards.Maintain student attendance records (for Financial Aid purposes) and grades; conduct evaluations of student performance.Inform students of progress-to-date periodically and submit grades by published deadlines.Assist in maintaining a safe and mutually respectful instructional environment.Prepare and submit incident reports for inappropriate student behavior as defined by policy.Maintain professional and collegial behavior; handle/respond to student concerns/complaints promptly (generally within 1–2 days).Maintain professional appearance as defined by the discipline and/or College procedure.Complete all required employee trainings; know and enforce FERPA guidelines; provide ADA accommodations as requested.Perform other job-related duties as needed and communicate effectively with a broad range of people across the College.All faculty will maintain an on-site campus presence to encourage in-person relationships unless approved for online-only courses.You are employed as an Adjunct Faculty member/Instructor on a contract-to-contract basis, with no future expectation or obligation for employment.
