A respected home furnishings and design firm is seeking a full-time Interior Designer in Novi, MI. This role involves creating functional, cohesive interior spaces and requires expertise in space planning, construction drawings, and design software like AutoCAD. The Designer will closely collaborate with clients to ensure the designs reflect their preferences and lifestyle. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

At Floor & Decor Designers are responsible for meeting with customers, listening to their project needs, educating them on all that is required for their project, and building a creative design concept that incorporates the customers personal style, lifestyle, and budget. Essential Functions • Greet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needs • Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store • Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects. The perfect Architectural Interior Designer This person will work closely with the team and the local branch team, you will interpret architectural designs as specified within project sketches, Architectural drawings or models and realize those designs in both 2D and 3D formats.
