Responsibilities • Work with Senior Designer to develop interior schemes including color, materials, sourcing furniture, fabrics, case goods, lighting and material selections. • Work with Senior Designer to generate budgets, FF&E documents, finish and material schedule, hardware schedule, plumbing schedule etc. • Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, architects and clients. • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other co-workers.

If you have hands-on experience with Revit and are familiar with building processes, we’d like to meet you. (GSAPC) is a uniquely positioned architecture and interior design practice with emphasis on the holistic management of the design process. We navigate our clients through the abstract aspects of creating appropriate, quality, functional structures and interior spaces attuned to the client’s unique needs, opportunities and priorities. Our first task for every project is to thoroughly understand our client’s needs. We at GSAPC listen, and then translate what we hear into design solutions that work for the client on every level—functionally, aesthetically and financially.

Work with Principal and design team to manage and execute projects from design stage through completion based on Principal’s visions and expectations. Work with the design team to create client presentations using various media including mood boards and material boards. Work with the design team to develop detailed design and construction drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, electrical details, schedules (finish, plumbing, door, fixture), furniture floor plans, FF&E specifications, materials and finishes. Develop architectural finish specifications and coordinate with project architects, contractor and review plans and details to ensure proper coordination of finishes and item numbers. Work with design team to develop detailed schedules including finish, plumbing, door, fixture, furniture, FF&E.

Prepare presentations, material boards and mood boards for clients Communicate effectively with architectural and design team, vendors and clients 1-3 years’ experience working for a residential interior design firm or retail design store Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage all aspects of project under the guidance of a senior designer. Strong desire to contribute and collaborate with the design team

As part of the Project team, you will use creativity, foresight, product knowledge and that great design eye to meet the project design requirements and objectives from start through project completion. We support Creative Design; Be able to present your design ideas, materials , and finishes to the team and the clients. · Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills: Proficiency in Revit / BIM, Photoshop, Illustrator, possible Sketch-up, and In Design graphic software. · Ability to work in team environment.
