Drapery Manager

Overview AG Interior Designs is a premier manufacturer of high-end custom furniture, draperies, and window coverings. We serve luxury residential clients, interior designers, and commercial partners including casinos and resorts throughout the Western U.S. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Drapery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our custom drapery department. This role will be responsible for managing the production of drapery projects and quality control. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of custom drapery construction and fabrication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, highly detail-oriented environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDrapery Fabrication & Production · Oversee daily drapery production and workflow · Ensure work is fabricated according to approved specifications, measurements, and quality standards · Provide guidance and support to drapery workroom staff · Review construction details including fullness, pleat style, returns, overlaps, hems, linings, and other specifications · Establish and maintain quality-control standards for finished draperies · Inspect completed work before it moves to installation · Identify and correct fabrication issues before products leave the workroom · Help improve fabrication processes, efficiency, and consistency · Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure projects remain on track · Monitor project status and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issues · Serve as the primary internal point of contact for drapery-related questions and issues · Maintain organized storage of drapery materials and supplies Team Leadership & Administration · Provide day-to-day direction and support to drapery production staff · Help establish priorities and allocate work based on project deadlines · Train and mentor team members on drapery fabrication standards and procedures · Maintain accurate project documentation and work orders · Communicate effectively with management regarding project status, production capacity, staffing needs, and potential issues · Serve as a resource to help staff solve problems and keep production moving efficiently · Support continuous improvement of department processes and procedures Preferred Qualifications · 10+ years of experience in custom drapery fabrication, workroom management, or a related field · Strong knowledge of custom drapery construction and fabrication techniques · Excellent attention to detail and quality control · Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities · Comfortable working hands-on in a production/workroom environment · Experience with commercial, hospitality, or luxury residential projects is a plus · Experience working with interior designers and design professionals is a plus · Experience with window covering hardware and motorized systems is a plus · Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Compensation & Benefits · Competitive pay · Flexible work schedule · Supportive and healthy work environment · Opportunities for growth within a creative and growing company Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience: drapery workroom: 10 years (Required) Work Location: In person
