Our Designers provides design support primarily in project administration, design development and contract documents.Specific responsibilities will include:At the direction of senior designers, completes technical drawingsWorks with design team to develop design ideasProvide preliminary review of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solutionAssists senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishesUnder supervision, develops preliminary space plans at a high levelAt direction of senior designers, may provide suggested details for interior design projectsResearches and collects details for furniture and finish cost estimatesDevelops preliminary plansAssists senior staff with verification of site details to support designAssists in field surveying of client spacesCompiles pricing from manufactures and representativesIs aware of and supportive to the work of the Junior DesignerSupports the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews, provide documentation support; developing skills working with Affinity program toolQualifications:Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted3-6+ years’ experience in corporate workplace interiors, hospitality, and commercial design projectsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aestheticsFamiliarity with space planning methodologyFamiliarity with furnishings and finishesIntermediate sketching and rendering skillsWorking knowledge of CDs and proceduresFamiliarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirementsFamiliarity with requirements for the path of travelFamiliarity with contract administrationCommitment to support projects through peaks and valleysIntermediate MS Office Suite skillsAdvanced Revit skillsAdvanced Adobe Creative Suite skillsBasic Affinity Program skillsIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsBasic presentation and graphic communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
