Design Team Lead/ INTERIOR DESIGNER

Position: Design Lead Location: Cleveland, OH Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Must-Haves: Minimum 8 years in designExperience managing reports or in a lead/mentor roleComfortable with fully onsite workCommercial project experience Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Interior Design/Interior ArchitectureInterior Design and furniture design experienceProficient in AutoCADProficient in CET DesignerExperience in CAP 2020Experience in Core, a plus Basic Qualifications: Strong leadership skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProblem solver and innovatorComputer literate (word processing, spreadsheets, project applications)Good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with mathematical conceptsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Primary Responsibilities as Design Lead: Work closely with the design team on a daily basis to coach, motivate, and guideEnsure designers are properly trained (new hires as well as experienced designers)Execute onboarding for new hires in our processes, products, and proceduresCoordinate project load distribution and assign projects to design team members weeklyEnsure time management goals are being met by all designersImplement processes and proceduresParticipate in design staff annual reviews with the Managing Director and Director of DesignCoordinate vacation schedules among the design team Benefits Package: Comprehensive competitive benefits package including:Health planDental planVision plan401k plan with a safe harborLife insuranceCell phone stipendLaptopPaid vacation
