Design Architect

Position Summary GSX Ventures is a vertically integrated, real estate development firm. The Design Architect is responsible for creating innovative architectural solutions from conceptual design through design development. This role focuses on design excellence, visualization, creative problem-solving, and translating client goals into compelling architectural environments. Key Responsibilities Develop project concepts, space planning, and design strategies. Create presentations, renderings, and design narratives. Produce architectural drawings and models using Revit and other design software. Collaborate with clients and project teams during design phases. Participate in design charrettes and client presentations. Coordinate with engineering and specialty consultants. Research materials, sustainability strategies, and building systems. Support permitting and documentation efforts as needed. Maintain design quality throughout project development. Mentor junior architects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture. 12 years of architectural design experience. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Lumia Strong conceptual and graphic communication skills. Experience producing renderings and presentation materials. Understanding of building codes and construction systems. Excellent design portfolio showing creativity and technical knowledge. Preferred Experience Multi-family, residential, senior housing, student housing, retail, mixed-use and commercial design. Urban redevelopment experience a plus Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or Twinmotion. Sustainable design and LEED project experience
