Commercial Office Furniture Designer & Space Planner

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for the design, space planning, layout & specifications and quotes for our commercial office furniture & systems products. Prepare project estimates & schedules for dealers & end users Thorough understanding of project process from design through installation. Build relationship with sales team, installation team, & manufacturing team. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Qualifications include ability to read and interpret cad drawings and other office furniture/cubicles and dimension plans. Strong organizational & time management skills Minimum 1 year experience in commercial design/furniture industry Strong verbal presentation skills to express clearly and articulately the project direction & design intent to team members, dealers & end users. Knowledge of furniture, material and design specifications. Working knowledge of ADA and Fire Codes Bachelor’s degree from accredited School of Architecture and/or Interior Design or area of specialization. HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS AutoCAD 2022 Required. CAP 20/20 software experience Required. Furniture specification with CAP 20/20 including CAP Worksheet Visual Impressions 3D Rendering Microsoft Office Microsoft Outlook
