Role Description The Architectural Intern will support project teams in the design and documentation of architectural projects in Lancaster, PA. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with conceptual design, preparing drawings and 3D models, and contributing to presentations and design reviews. The intern will help analyze sites and existing conditions, research materials and building systems, and refine design solutions under the guidance of licensed architects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with team members, organizing project documentation, and ensuring work aligns with client requirements and project standards. The role offers hands-on experience across multiple project phases and opportunities for professional growth within the firm. Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to project drawings, models, and design concepts.Skills in Solution Architecture and Integration, with capacity to help develop coherent design solutions that respond to site, context, and client needs.Effective Communication skills, including clear visual, written, and verbal communication within the project team and in client-facing materials.Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited architecture program (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred).Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a studio environment.Interest in context-sensitive design, site analysis, and sustainable building practices.
