The ideal candidate is passionate about design and has a strong understanding of design principles and techniques. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field 2+ years of professional experience or relevant internships in residential interior design Strong interest in high-end residential design and eagerness to grow within the field Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and basic design presentation tools Studio Designer experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of furniture, finishes, textiles, and materials Strong organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Client-service mindset with professionalism and empathy Collaborative, proactive team player with a positive attitude Ability to accept feedback and implement direction efficiently Polished, confident client-facing presence Ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members in both office and on-site environments Support the larger project team by acting as an apprentice and backup to the Project Manager and Designer Assist with tasks outlined in the Project Manager and Designer role definitions as directed Contribute to the development of space plans, furniture plans, and overall design decisions under supervision Prepare design drawings, layouts, and presentation materials in alignment with approved design direction Create, update, and maintain finish schedules, furniture schedules, and related documentation Ensure accuracy and consistency across design documents Assist with proposal preparation and selection documentation as needed Participate in client and vendor meetings as requested, supporting senior team members Assist with site visits, installations, and punch lists as needed Access to a car is required Our work is rooted in classical design principles with a modern sensibility, and we prioritize sustainability and thoughtful craftsmanship throughout every phase of the design process.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design and has a strong understanding of design principles and techniques. The candidate should have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and possess strong communication skills. After the introduction period, this role will work four days in the office and one day remote.

The Design Intern will work under the direction of our design teams and will assist in the various aspects of the design process.
