Virtual Market Development Specialist: Interior Design

The MDS is responsible for growing Visual Comfort’s business by calling on Interior Designers in non-showroom markets. A successful MDS is an active listener, has a compelling sales personality and a drive to chase and close new business from cold calls and warm leads. This role will focus on building relationships with and educating customers and prospects on Visual Comfort’s products and services. 2+ years of sales experience in consultative sales environment 3+ years inside sales experience Sales experience in interior design, building products, or home furnishings Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with experience in public speaking Superior organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Keen eye for design and creativity Ability to achieve results both independently and through collaboration High energy, independent, proactive, and self-motivated Likewise, Visual Comfort & Co., will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
