Furniture Specialist

This individual is visionary, detail-oriented, and motivated to support our design and procurement teams as a Furniture Specialist. The Furniture Specialist will lead the furnishings scope across a range of projects, developing comprehensive packages that include furniture, lighting, accessories, art, and more. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in interior design or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in residential furniture design and planning, and proficiency in software that supports effective communication and project management. Key responsibilities will also include management of project process, creating detailed inventory of existing product, recording information, assisting to define the scope of a project, tracking scope and budget over the life of the project, requesting pricing and samples from vendors, selling the client on the right solutions, creating detailed furniture plans, and processing effective project punch and close out alongside dealers or our internal procurement team. Strong presentation and communication skills.
