Job Description: Our designers work closely with clients in our showroom, design studio, and in the client’s home to create individualized design solutions that are beautifully timeless as well as functional. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints • Stay current on design and color trends to create fashionable design solutions • Create and present detailed design concepts, including space planning, elevations, color schemes, window treatments and product selections • Source and select furniture, window treatments, rugs, art, lighting and accessories from our extensive vendor list that align with the client's vision • Oversee the installation and implementation of design elements • Coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service to customers, before and after the sale, by promptly keeping customers informed of their order status including any delays • Support showroom during business hours to acquire new leads and convert to clients • Perform any other duties as required Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related field with a minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience preferred • Broad knowledge of interior design; sales and business, customer relations and organization, furniture, fabric, window treatments, casegoods, softgoods construction, art/art history, principles of art and design • Effective sales techniques Experience: • Design Related: 1 year (Required)
