The Interior Designer I role at Embraer Executive Jets is an entry-level position that supports the aircraft interior specification process for Embraer's executive aircraft. Working under the guidance of senior designers, this role assists in preparing customer-facing materials, organizing specification documentation, and supporting customer specification sessions. The position offers hands-on exposure to luxury aircraft interiors, cross-functional collaboration, and the fundamentals of aviation interior design while developing professional design and client-service skills in a highly regulated environment. • Contribute to a professional, service-oriented customer experience while maintaining confidentiality. • Actively learn about aircraft interior materials, processes, and aviation standards.

The Supervisor, Interior Design leads the Customer Design by managing a specialized team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience throughout the aircraft configuration journey—from the sales campaign through the configuration of interior materials and exterior paint schemes, all the way to aircraft delivery. This role ensures that all customer selections are accurately captured in configuration documents and systems that flow into engineering, configuration, programs, and production. Internally, this role is accountable for team readiness, capability tracking, task domain organization (customer-facing, back-office support, graphics, and paint scheme specialists), performance evaluation, career path clarity, and compliance with new processes and standards. This includes enforcing compliance with any updated corporate guidelines or quality standards related to interior design and configuration. • Prefer 5+ years executive aviation market experience is typical, including advanced design and technical knowledge, and/or experience in Aircraft Interior Design or Completions of VIP Aircraft.

Work will be performed in accordance with the necessary production documentation while meeting the requirements of quality, functionality, safety, deadlines and recording production data. Analyze processes and process improvement opportunities within the production process. Experience: • Journeyman Technician Role requiring Intermediate Skills to perform most of the standard tasks within the technical area assigned to. • Repair body or structure of aircraft as well as interior components according to specifications. Performs other duties as assigned.
