Aerospace Mechanical Design Engineer Interiors Prepare documentation for aircraft modifications. • Coordinate with suppliers. • Troubleshoot issues.

Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures Participate in 5-S activities Perform work in a safe and timely manner Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work as needed Clean aircraft as required Travel on international assignments if required Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as neededAssist with other maintenance disciplines as needed You demonstrate ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper You have experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish including touching up defects in veneer You can mix match and apply stains and paints on new veneers You have knowledge on spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats You have experience with Aircraft touch up You demonstrate the ability to mask and unmask components for finish process You demonstrate mechanical aptitude You demonstrate the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings You demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status You have experience on corporate jets (preferred) You have Basic PC skills Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!

• Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports. • Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications. • Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests. • Work in a team environment • You are proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred) • You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).

Work in a team environment You hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years relevant experience or will have a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation.
