INTERIOR DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:Work directly with clients and principal designer on projectConcept presentationsOn-site measurements and photosFloor plans, color and material schemesAutoCAD drawingsPrepare proposal for clientsWork closely with project managers on purchasing and logistics manager on expeditingOn-site coordinationREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school2-4 years of professional experience in another design firm is preferred.Must demonstrate strong capabilities in handling and overseeing a project from concept through final installationMust be available for business travel out of stateTeam playerMust be able to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines; a sense of urgency is desired to respond and react to a fast-paced industry with exceptional skills for follow throughProficiency in construction drawings, codes, materials, furniture, finish selections and specificationsProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Exchange and OfficeKnowledge of Studio Designer software is a big plusMust be extremely professional, reliable, and punctual, be able to work late as needed, have personal stabilityMust possess extensive product and vendor knowledgeSelf-motivated and strong time management skills to successfully work on multiple projectsClear speaking voice with a pleasant and professional presenceValid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
