Qualifications: • This role is an in-office position • Degree from a CIDA accredited interior design program or NAAB accredited architecture program • 7+ years of experience in commercial design; workplace experience strongly preferred • Display strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing • Revit proficiency and technical excellence • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together • Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget • General understanding of building and accessibility codes • Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors • Interest in sustainable design • Professional registration or registration process in motion • Effective organizational and communication skills • Attention to detail • Flexible attitude • Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment • Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teams • Ability to translate design concepts and information into images • Confident presentation ability • Potential travel opportunities This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. The Junior Designer, while working under the direct supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, performs a broad variety of drafting and/or design tasks. In addition, you will: • Work with design team to develop design ideas • May assist senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishes • Under supervision, develops preliminary space plans • Assist and learn detailing • Assist and learn the production of furniture & finish packages, along with cost estimating • Assist senior staff with verification of site details to support design • Assist in field surveying of client spaces • Correct drawings red lined by others • Support the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews, provide documentation support; developing skills working with Affinity program tool

The Senior Interior Designer works closely with the Interior Design Project Managers to provide design and coordination in the design, development, and delivery of various projects. This position requires the ability to lead the design process and provide general design management to complete work as scheduled within project parameters, to recognize and resolve moderately complex problems, and communicate effectively with the design team, senior staff, and clients, adapt to changes and elect the most effective methods of accomplishing tasks. In addition, this position requires a thorough understanding of current design trends and a high level of experience using Revit, InDesign, & Photoshop software. • Meets project schedules and maintains positive relationships with clients and the Ci Design project teams. • Ability to multitask, work as part of a team and work independently on multiple projects.
