Designer Job Overview We are a boutique residential design-build firm specializing in thoughtful, well-crafted renovations and custom homes. Our work is grounded in strong design fundamentals, clear communication, and close collaboration with our clients. We’re seeking a Designer who values precision, design clarity, and the opportunity to be deeply involved in shaping meaningful residential spaces from concept through construction. Designer Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive residential design concepts that reflect client preferences and project requirements.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, negotiate design solutions, and present proposals confidently.Produce thoughtful renovation drawings, including existing and proposed floor plans and carefully dimensioned layouts suitable for constructionUtilize software such as SketchUp or similar tools to produce detailed drawings and visualizations.Supervise Selection Coordinator to ensure accuracy in drawings, renovation plans, interior layouts, and construction documents.Designer Skills Qualifications Proven experience in residential design management or a similar role within the construction or interior design industry.Strong proficiency in software such as SketchUp, or other drafting or visualization tools.Ability to produce clear, buildable floor plans and 3D models with strong design fundamentals related to flow, proportion, and functionalitySolid understanding of project scheduling software and techniques for managing multiple concurrent projects.Knowledge of construction estimating processes, budgeting practices, contracts management, and construction management principles.Familiarity with renovation projects including interior design aspects from concept to execution.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in drafting, project management documentation, and contract review.Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time offWork Location: In person
