Lead Designer

We are looking for a Lead Designer who is creative, technical, and can successfully guide clients through our entire design process. They are someone who thrives in the details and brings both a refined design sensibility and deep industry knowledge to every project. This role will work closely with the Principal Designer, Project Coordinator, and Procurement Manager and will exhibit a collaborative approach to leadership, while also being eager to learn, grow, and absorb. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in construction documentation, has strong design judgment, and is confident in managing multiple complex projects. They are exceptional at creating elevated spaces that align with client goals, project requirements, budget constraints, and the Kallan Interiors brand aesthetic. This individual will play an important role in helping shape the next chapter of a growing high-end residential design firm. The position starts out as part-time but has the opportunity to transition into a full-time role dependent on overall fit. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in-office.
