Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Design Coordinator to join our Development Team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the coordination of various interior design projects by working closely with the VP of Interior Design, Project Managers, and collaborating with outsourced Interior Design firms. The ideal candidate will have a passion... for design, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role will support the Development team in ensuring that an interior design proposal aligns with the project’s direction, tracking progress while respecting submittal dates and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and communicate with Development team members
• Assist in developing and presenting design concepts and proposals
• Update and maintain the Interior Design office library
• Support the sourcing of products and materials as needed
• Help in submitting, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders
• Visit job sites as necessary and travel as required, with advance notice
• Coordinate with the Development team to update design-related changes, review plan sets, and update furniture plans, sharing feedback with the external Interior Design firm partner
• Address design-related issues creatively and efficiently with support
• Communicate with vendors and contractors as directed
• Occasionally assist in developing and presenting design concepts and proposals for minor internal Interior Design proposals
• Problem solve creatively and efficiently
• Partner with the Project Manager to coordinate and participate in the final installation of projects
• Support the VP of Interior Design with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledge in Revit
• Knowledge in Excel and other project management tools
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction plans
• Quick learner and adaptable to changes
• Fine attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish a plus
