Hamed Homes is seeking an organized and motivated Interior Design Coordinator to support the design and construction process of custom luxury homes throughout Northeast Indiana.

The Interior Design Coordinator will support the interior design and project management teams through material coordination, quote management, selection verification, and field observation. This role requires strong organization, communication, follow through, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate enjoys structure, organization, problem solving, and being involved in both office coordination and active construction environments.
Position Overview
The Interior Design Coordinator supports the day to day management of interior selections and project details throughout the construction process. This role helps maintain organization across multiple active projects while ensuring finish materials, specifications, and design details are properly tracked and communicated.
This position is best suited for someone who is highly detail oriented, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities within a fast paced luxury residential environment.
Primary Responsibilities Selections and Documentation
Review and verify interior selections, finish schedules, and product specifications
Organize and maintain accurate records for selections, samples, and material information
Help ensure product details and finish information are properly documented and communicated
Assist in tracking outstanding selections and pending approvals
Vendor Coordination
Obtain and organize pricing from vendors and suppliers
Coordinate material samples, lead times, and product availability
Maintain communication with vendors regarding quotes, orders, and scheduling updates
Help confirm materials align with project expectations and timelines
Project and Field Support
Visit active jobsites to review design related details and verify field accuracy
Identify missing information, inconsistencies, or items requiring follow up
Assist in maintaining overall project quality and attention to detail throughout construction
Support project managers and designers with ongoing coordination needs
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with interior designers, project managers, vendors, and trade partners
Participate in project meetings and internal coordination discussions
Support a collaborative and professional team environment
Qualifications
Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Interest in luxury residential construction and interior finishes
Comfortable working in both office and active construction settings
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software platforms
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
