Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized High End Residential Design Coordinator to join our innovative design team. This role is pivotal in managing the seamless execution of luxury residential projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for interior design, exceptional project management skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure each project reflects our commitment to excellence. As a key liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and vendors, you will drive the coordination of design development, construction documentation, and installation processes with energy and professionalism. Position Overview The Design Coordinator plays a key role in creating a seamless and elevated experience for clients throughout the building process. You will coordinate selections, manage design details, communicate with vendors and project teams, and help ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and aligned with the client’s vision. Vision – Create a legendary experience by: - Guiding clients through a clear, organized, and enjoyable selections process - Ensuring timely decisions that keep projects on schedule and within budget - Communicating clearly and proactively with clients, vendors, and the internal team - Supporting design excellence through thoughtful details and collaboration Responsibilities: - Preconstruction & Client Selections - Assist Estimator in establishing pre-contract allowances - Assist clients with preconstruction selections - Present Allowance & Decision Schedule upon contract execution - Schedule and coordinate vendor appointments for client selections - Ensure vendors are prepared with accurate drawings and allowances - Project Coordination & Communication - Track plan changes and distribute updates to all impacted parties - Communicate selections, pricing, specifications, and drawings to clients, designers, Project Managers, Estimating, and Accounting - Be respectfully assertive to ensure timely client decisions - Obtain and maintain documentation for all client approvals - Maintain accurate project records (paint colors, product specs, etc.) - Assemble warranty information for clients - Vendor & Order Management - Coordinate with vendors for accurate and timely ordering with a firm understanding of product lead times - Upload selections to Dropbox, and/or BuilderTrend - Prepare Change Orders as necessary Qualifications: - Ability to be assertive in driving decisions and scheduling - Strong problem-solving skills with ability to seek direction when needed - Ability to handle confidential information - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong technological aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly - Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, or related field preferred - 3+ years of strong administrative experience - Ability to read and interpret building plans - Knowledge of construction processes and materials - Proficiency in design software Core Values: People First, | Always on mission, | People over profits,| Trust & Respect, | Humble honesty, | Sacrifice for the greater good, | Integrity, | Do what you say (Audio matches Video), | Golden Rule, | Design Passion, | Creativity, | Collaboration, | Excellence, | 1% Better.
