The Kitchen Designer at The Home Depot assists customers with kitchen and bath projects by providing design consultations, product recommendations, and project management. This role involves using design software to create tailored solutions while maintaining the showroom environment and guiding clients through the purchasing process.

Responsible for the development of specific discipline (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil or structural) design packages for the installation of complex industrial projects. Duties: • Planning and Scheduling – defining a scope of the project drafting requirements, estimating drafting man hours and requirements. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. with at least thirteen (13) years of experience, or an Associates Degree in a related technical field, or two (2) years of college work toward a related Bachelor of Science degree, and at least seven (7) years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the jobs such as those listed above. • Knowledge of regulatory codes and requirements related to the stated discipline.

Although sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, a Sales Consultant will spend the majority of their working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment. Sales Consultants will travel to customers' homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs, and maintain/drive profitability. To drive sales and increase the pipeline of potential customers, a Sales Consultant will travel to their assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and bring awareness to HDIS programs. Conduct incidental activities necessary to complete sales (e.g., assessing customer needs, develop price quotes, measure product specifications, etc.) Minimal or no education requirementsMinimum Years Of Work Experience
