Office Environments is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Workplace Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the office furniture industry and a passion for creating functional, beautiful spaces that enhance our clients’ work environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Account Executives and attend client meetings to gather information, share expertise, and contribute to design conversations.
Conduct site verifications and product inventories as needed.
Perform programming to identify client needs and goals.
Develop space plans and layouts that align with project requirements.
Create compelling client presentations, including ‘Live Design’ sessions.
Produce 3D renderings and virtual reality presentations.
Apply knowledge of commercial furniture products and finishes to develop cohesive design solutions.
Generate accurate and detailed specifications for furniture packages.
Prepare precise installation drawings on time and in line with project expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA/BFA) in Interior Design or Architectural Design.
2–5 years of experience, preferable at Furniture Dealership.
Proficiency in CET Designer, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and SketchUp.
Experience using furniture specification software is preferred.
Familiarity with Steelcase products is a plus.
Ideal Candidate: You are a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and strong time management. You can juggle multiple projects, think critically, and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
