About this role

Emerald Kitchen & Bath is a design-build showroom serving clients with design, renovation, and remodeling projects throughout the home. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse & Showroom Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for warehouse operations, forklift operation, material handling, inventory organization, and supporting our showroom and design team. The ideal candidate has prior forklift and warehouse experience, is safety-conscious, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in both a warehouse and showroom environment. ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Forklift Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize materials and products. Load and unload deliveries and shipments. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming products and materials. Safely handle and move cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, fixtures, and other residential materials. Load company vehicles and assist with deliveries and pickups as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading area. Assist with inventory organization, tracking, and labeling. Identify damaged, incorrect, or missing materials and report issues to management. Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety requirements. Showroom & Design Support Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom. Organize product samples, displays, and material libraries. Assist customers in locating products and materials. Support designers and sales staff with customer appointments and project preparation. Prepare product samples and materials for customer meetings. Assist with showroom displays, product updates, and merchandising. Support the design team with product research, material selections, and project organization. Learn about a wide range of residential products, materials, finishes, and design solutions. General Work collaboratively with designers, sales staff, management, installers, and vendors. Provide professional and friendly customer service. Assist with showroom events and special projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Previous forklift operating experience is required. Previous warehouse, material handling, construction, logistics, or related experience. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred: Current forklift certification or documented forklift training. Experience handling cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, fixtures, or other residential building materials. Experience in construction, remodeling, interior design, home improvement, or retail. Experience with inventory or project management software. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
