Role Description Upwall Design is seeking a full-time, on-site Technical Interior Designer specializing in Revit, documentation, and specifications. This position is based in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about technical design execution. This role will focus on developing comprehensive construction documentation, maintaining project specification books, producing Revit models and drawing sets, coordinating FF&E selections and schedules, and creating presentation renderings. The Technical Interior Designer will work closely with the interior design and architectural teams to ensure design intent is accurately documented and successfully executed. Responsibilities Assist with interior design development from schematic design through construction documentation.Develop and refine space planning, material palettes, and interior detailing in collaboration with the design team.Translate design concepts into accurate and coordinated Revit models and drawing sets.Develop and maintain detailed Revit models and construction document sets.Prepare and update project specification books and material schedules.Coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections and specifications.Create renderings and presentation materials to support client and project team communication.Collaborate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors throughout project development.Maintain company drafting standards and quality-control procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proficiency in Revit required (2+ years of consistent and recent experience)Experience producing high-quality construction documents and technical drawing packages.Strong understanding of interior construction methods, detailing, and building systems.Experience preparing specifications, schedules, and FF&E documentation.Proficiency with rendering and visualization softwareStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Experience in residential design, particularly custom homes and mountain residences, is preferred.
