STUDIO OPERATIONS MANAGER at a growing residential Interior Design firm REPORTS TO: Owner, Principal Designer ENGAGEMENT: Monday - Thursday 9:00-4:00 LOCATION: In person, @ our studio in Tallahassee, FL START: Early August SALARY: Competitive based on experience, with potential for growth ABOUT US: We are a boutique residential interior design studio serving discerning clients throughout North Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Studio Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the studio and plays a key role in ensuring every project, client, vendor relationship, and internal process runs smoothly. This person is polished and poised, thrives on organization, anticipates needs before they arise, communicates with professionalism and warmth, and enjoys making complex projects feel effortless. RESPONSIBILITIES: Studio Operations Maintain an organized, welcoming studioOrder and maintain office suppliesCoordinate office cleaning, landscaping and maintenancePrepare the studio for client meetings and vendor presentationsAssist with hiring and onboardingDocument office systems and proceduresHelp improve operational efficiencyProject Coordination Keep multiple design projects organized and on scheduleTrack project milestones and deadlinesCoordinate deliveries, inspections, tagging and storage of furnishings and materialsDeliver and retrieve soft goods from local workroomsAssist with procurement and project documentationSchedule and coordinate photographyClient Experience Serve as the primary administrative contact for clientsGuide new clients through the onboarding processSend project updates and communicate next stepsVendor Relations Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, workrooms, installers and subcontractorsManage scheduling and follow-upResolve logistical issues before they become problems WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL: Communicate professionally and confidently with high-end clients and vendorsBuild efficient systems and processes as our business growsStay calm under pressureBalance multiple projects simultaneouslyBe proactive and thoroughTake ownership and work independently YOU WILL THRIVE HERE IF YOU: Feel excited about the opportunity to help a small design firm growCan think ahead and anticipate potential issues before they ariseLike systems, organization and creating order Feel satisfaction from checking things off and keeping projects movingDon’t want to do the same thing everydayHave a sense of urgency and a sense of humorManage your time well independently HOW TO APPLY: Please submit your answers to the following questions, along with your resume, to jennifer@homeproper.com Tell us about a time you had 20 things happening at once.
