Studio Designer Procurement Specialist

Studio Designer Procurement & Purchasing Manager Intimate Living Interiors (ILI) Position Overview Intimate Living Interiors is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Procurement & Purchasing Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, tracking, and coordination of furnishings, materials, and vendor relationships for our interior design projects. This role is essential to ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule from procurement through installation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and has strong experience managing purchasing processes within the interior design, construction, or luxury furnishings industry. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Source and purchase furniture, lighting, textiles, materials, accessories, and décor for client projectsCreate and manage purchase orders, vendor invoices, and procurement documentationMaintain accurate records of all purchasing activity and project budgetsVerify pricing, lead times, and product specifications before orderingCoordinate custom orders and monitor production timelines Vendor & Supplier Management Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliersNegotiate pricing, shipping terms, and delivery schedules when appropriateResolve vendor issues, damages, shortages, or discrepancies promptly and professionallyResearch and onboard new vendors aligned with the ILI brand and design aesthetic Project Coordination Track all orders from placement through delivery and installationCoordinate with designers, warehouses, receivers, installers, and project managersMaintain procurement schedules to support project timelines and deadlinesProvide regular status updates to the design team and leadership Inventory & Logistics Oversee receiving schedules and delivery coordinationEnsure items are properly tracked, inspected, and accounted for upon arrivalManage freight claims, returns, replacements, and damagesSupport installation preparation and logistics coordination Financial & Administrative Support Assist with procurement budgeting and cost trackingReconcile purchasing records with accounting and project budgetsEnsure procurement systems and processes remain organized and efficientHelp identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent Qualifications 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or operations experienceExperience in interior design, furniture, construction, or luxury retail preferredStrong understanding of purchasing workflows and vendor managementExperience with Studio Designer, QuickBooks, Design Manager, or similar software is a plusExceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Desired Attributes Detail-oriented and highly organizedProactive and solution-drivenStrong sense of urgency and accountabilityProfessional and polished communication styleCollaborative team player with a positive attitudeAbility to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experienceGenerous PTOFull paid health insurance401K with highest matchOpportunities for growth within the companyCollaborative and creative work environmentFlexible and supportive team culture About Intimate Living Interiors Intimate Living Interiors is a high end interior design firm dedicated to creating timeless, intentional, and elevated spaces.
