Store Designer

Responsible for the design and layout of retail stores, the full-time remote Store Designer will create preliminary floor plans, ensure compliance with design standards and building codes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs. Key responsibilities Create and review store layouts based on site surveys and CAD files, ensuring compliance with design guidelines and building codes Present and incorporate feedback on floor plans from internal teams, ensuring all operational needs are addressed Develop and produce architectural construction documents and manage project stages while coordinating with consultants and city officials Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in chain retail store design and/or CAD design Proficiency in architectural design programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup Working knowledge of governing construction codes and accessibility design guidelines Ability to create, read, and interpret construction documents and architectural drawings
