Shop Associate / Interior Design Assistant J. Grady Home is a sophisticated interior design firm that operates alongside a companion retail brick and mortar location on Charles Street in the Beacon Hill district of Boston. Our team is currently in search of a Shop Associate / Interior Design Assistant to aid in the expansion and curation of our store and to assist with our robust residential interior design practice. This position would have the opportunity to assist in our new Manchester by the Sea location as well. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a multitude of day-to-day operations of a growing retail and design business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Merchandising the store and taking ownership of overall presentationManaging inventory which includes product purchasingBuilding and maintaining customer relationshipsCompleting customer transactionsOpen / Close dutiesMerchandising and organizing displaysAssist with Interior Design operations as needed including organizing samples, product and project information.Support and engage with design clients as necessary.
