About this role

The Role You will work directly with Principal Kati Curtis and serve as the technical backbone of the design team. Your primary responsibility is transforming design concepts into detailed drawings, schedules, specifications, presentations, and project documentation. This is not a styling or social media position. This is a production-intensive role requiring exceptional technical skills, drawing ability, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. ResponsibilitiesTechnical Documentation Develop and maintain Revit models throughout all project phases Produce construction documents and drawing sets Create detailed interior elevations Draft custom millwork, cabinetry, built-ins, and architectural details Create custom furniture models and drawings for fabrication Prepare reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and installation drawings Coordinate consultant and contractor information Review drawing sets for accuracy and completeness Interior Design Production Create furniture plans and room layouts Build FF&E schedules Maintain finish, plumbing, lighting, and hardware schedules Produce tile layouts and pattern drawings Develop custom furniture drawings and specifications Prepare specification packages and installation documentation Project Coordination Track design decisions and revisions Maintain project documentation and digital filing systems Coordinate information with vendors and fabricators Prepare meeting notes and action item lists Assist with procurement documentation as needed QualificationsRequired 5+ years of luxury residential interior design experience Advanced Revit proficiency Strong drafting and technical drawing skills Experience producing full construction document sets Knowledge of custom millwork and interior architectural detailing Ability to create detailed schedules and specifications Exceptional organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Highly Desired Experience with high-end New York residential projects Experience with custom furniture development Rendering experience Procurement and vendor coordination experience The Right Person You: Love documentation, organization, and precision Catch mistakes before anyone else sees them Can build a schedule without being asked Understand how interiors are actually constructed Think several steps ahead Enjoy bringing order to complexity Take pride in producing beautiful, accurate work Are self-directed and proactive The Wrong Person This role is not a fit if you: Prefer styling over technical work Need constant direction or supervision Dislike documentation and schedules Have limited Revit experience Are looking primarily for a marketing, social media, or decorating position Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Profit sharing Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Work Location: In person
