About this role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Designer to lead architectural design efforts from concept through construction for complex projects. This role serves as the primary client contact, oversees multidisciplinary design teams, ensures design excellence, and collaborates closely with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design for multiple projects through all phases of design and construction.Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong client relationships.Develop and present design concepts, presentations, and project narratives.Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and regulatory agencies.Mentor and supervise architects and junior design staff.Ensure design quality, code compliance, and technical accuracy.Prepare project schedules, work plans, and design budgets.Support business development, proposals, interviews, and client presentations.Coordinate construction documents, specifications, and building systems integration.Qualifications Bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university.10+ years of architectural design experience with leadership responsibility.Architectural experience in K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, civic buildings, and medical projects.Strong background in project coordination, client management, and team leadership.Experience with construction documents, specifications, building systems, and applicable building codes.Proficiency in architectural design, CAD, and presentation software.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and design quality.Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $130,000–$200,000 annuallyPerformance bonus and employee ownership/equity opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company benefitsGenerous paid time off and holidaysProfessional development, licensure support, and mentorshipHybrid work schedule and long-term career growth opportunities
