Senior Project Architect (Licensed Architect)

Job Summary TS3 Architects, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a licensed Senior Architect to lead a portfolio of projects from concept through closeout, cultivate the client relationships that drive our growth, and mentor the architects coming up behind them. This is a senior leadership role with real ownership of the work, the clients, and the results, in a focused 12-person studio where your standard sets the tone. What You'll Do Lead four to six concurrent projects from programming through construction closeout, delivering on schedule, on budget, and at a high standard of quality. Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams (structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and specialty), run design and construction meetings, and conduct QA/QC reviews. Lead construction administration, including submittal review, RFI responses, site observation, and project closeout. Cultivate client relationships as a trusted strategic advisor, with proactive, responsive communication throughout every project phase. Drive business development: generate new contracted work, participate in proposal interviews, develop fee proposals, and build a healthy pipeline. Manage your portfolio and forecasting in Monograph, and track business development in Incept CRM. Mentor two to three junior architects, deliver training, and contribute to firm standards and process improvements. Protect project profitability through disciplined scope management and change control. What You Bring Current architectural license. Eight to twelve or more years of progressive experience leading projects in a professional architectural practice. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects across all phases, from programming and schematic design through construction documents, construction administration, and closeout. Advanced proficiency in Revit for documentation and BIM coordination; experience with project management and CRM platforms (Monograph and Incept a plus). Strong command of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction methods. Proven business development and client relationship skills.
