We are looking for an experienced and dynamic senior level interior designer. As one of Maryland's leading commercial furniture dealerships, our design department continues to grow. Ideal candidate would have experience managing design projects, space planning, specifying and designing corporate, educational, health care, hospitality and government agencies. Located in Towson, Maryland, and... serving clients throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Virginia and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region.
The ideal candidate should possess:
-Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design
-Minimum 5 years' experience with commercial projects
- Proficiency in CET, AutoCAD, 20/20 GIZA Studio, MS Office and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with Team Design is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Commercial Furniture Manufacturers including Systems Furniture, Case goods, Educational and Healthcare
- Proficiency in production of working drawings: floor plans, furniture plans, finish, floor and wall treatment schedules, interior elevations and isometrics, etc.
- Proficiency in production of Client Presentation Materials including Product Specifications, Color/Finish Boards & Power Point Presentations
- Ability to handle multiple design projects and deadlines
- Ability to work closely with Architects, Designers, Project Managers, and Sales Reps to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to produce furniture and finish specifications, Color/Material selections & furniture inventories.
- Enthusiastic team player with client communication skills
