About this role

We are seeking a Senior Landscape Designer to lead high-end residential design-build projects with direct ownership of client engagement, design development, and project closure. This is a hybrid design and sales role — not a pure design position. You will manage the complete project lifecycle from initial homeowner consultation through concept development, visual presentation, and signed contract, directly driving revenue and generating consistent backlog for installation crews. This role is best suited for a confident, client-facing designer who is comfortable selling, comfortable being measured on production, and motivated by the connection between their design work and tangible business results. Responsibilities Meet with homeowners and estate-level clients to define project vision, goals, and budget parametersDevelop residential landscape concepts, custom layouts, and outdoor living designs tailored to each clientProduce 3D models and polished visual presentations to effectively communicate design intentLead client presentations and sales conversations, positioning design-build solutions with confidenceClose residential landscape projects typically ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 and aboveGenerate consistent project backlog by converting active client opportunities into signed agreementsManage multiple concurrent client opportunities while maintaining a high standard of responsivenessCollaborate closely with field and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of design visionContribute to the ongoing improvement of design processes, client experience, and sales performanceRequirements 5+ years of experience in residential landscape design or a design-build environmentProven track record of selling and closing landscape or outdoor living projects requiredDemonstrated experience working with high-end residential or estate-level clienteleProficiency in landscape design software with strong 3D modeling capabilityPolished client-facing, presentation, and consultative sales skillsAbility to own the full project lifecycle from initial consultation through design and closeComfortable being directly measured on revenue production and backlog generationResidential design-build background required — commercial-only experience will not be consideredBenefits Competitive base salary plus performance-based earnings including commission and bonusHealth insurance and benefits packageRetirement plan optionsPaid time offDirect impact on revenue growth and project pipeline development
