Senior Interior Designer

Ryan Young Interiors (www.ryan-young.com is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for their Commercial Studio with multi-family experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly creative and technically skilled designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and can confidently take projects from concept through design development. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for interiors, FF&E expertise, and advanced rendering capabilities who can contribute thoughtful, elevated design solutions across multi-family and commercial projects. Responsibilities ● Lead and support the design process from concept through design development ● Develop space plans, design presentations, mood boards, and material selections ● Produce high-quality renderings and visual presentations using SketchUp ● UtilizeAutoCAD for design development and drawing coordination ● Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and accessories ● Prepare and manage FF&E packages and specifications ● Collaborate closely with internal technical and project teams ● Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and manufacturers ● Support client presentations and help maintain project timelines ● Assist with construction documentation coordination as needed Qualifications ● 5+ years of interior design experience commercial, hospitality or multi-family projects ● Previous multi-family design experience strongly preferred ● Proficiency in SketchUp with the ability to create full renderings ● Strong AutoCAD skills required ● Extensive FF&E experience is required ● Construction documentation experience is a plus ● Strong understanding of design development processes ● Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills ● Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits ● Salary range: $83,000–$93,000 DOE ● Hybrid schedule: Work from home Wednesdays and Fridays ● Opportunity for additional in-office collaboration during the first 90 days preferred ● Collaborative and creative team environment ● Opportunity to work on high-end commercial and multi-family projects About Ryan Young Interiors Ryan Young Interiors is a full-service interior design studio known for creating thoughtful, elevated spaces that blend functionality with refined aesthetics.
