This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, experienced designer who can help lead projects from early concept development through construction administration and installation. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with HFC Design Principals, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal team members to deliver thoughtful, well-executed projects. This position requires strong design judgment, clear communication, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple project phases with confidence and care. Responsibilities Lead and support design efforts through all phases of the design process, from pre-design through installation Develop initial design inspiration, project palettes, and overall style direction Guide the team through design development, product selections, specifications, construction documentation, and installation planning Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal team members to keep projects moving forward Prepare and review construction documents related to each phase of the project Coordinate with consultants, including MEP engineers and other project partners as needed Manage submittal review, project schedules, and design-related deadlines Support client presentations and communicate design intent clearly and professionally Execute project designs within budget while supporting client satisfaction and company goals Contribute to overall design operations, including development of new inspiration, standards, resources, and construction details Qualifications 7-9 years of interior design experience - multifamily preferred 7+ years of AutoCAD experience 3+ years of Adobe Photoshop experience preferred Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Dropbox, Word, and Excel Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating project details Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to be clear, professional, and assertive with vendors, subcontractors, and project partners Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced design environment Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required Ability to travel as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for installations and project work Interior design licensure is not required, but is a plus Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Paid time off Experience: Interior design: 7 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30318 (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
