Key Responsibilities: Develop and nurture client relationships focused on wellness and recreation services.Lead marketing efforts with compelling strategies, thought leadership seminars, and project proposals.Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions within RDG's Sports Studio.Work across disciplines to enhance project success; teamwork is essential!Mentor and guide internal team members to foster a culture of growth.Create captivating presentations that showcase our design expertise and inspire clients.Serve as a project manager, overseeing planning and design of award-winning sports and wellness facilities, from programming to post-occupancy evaluations.Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and prospects.Strong leadership capabilities to steer and motivate teams and clients alike.Excellent critical thinking and collaborative skills, with a proven ability to maintain strong relationships.History of establishing long-term relationships with team members and clients, with a focus on client outreach.Experience developing strategies that successfully balance marketing initiatives with project delivery.Adaptability to work efficiently under changing conditions, utilizing technology and research to enhance team confidence.Willingness and ability to travel frequently as required for client engagements.Education and Experience: Minimum of 10 years in professional practice with at least 5 years in the wellness and recreation sector.Licensed architect or certified interior designer; additional credentials (LEED, WELL, etc.) are a plus.Insight into trends in wellness and recreational facilities planning, design, and operations.Demonstrated marketing and leadership experience.Proven project management background covering all phases of architectural processes.Broad understanding of technical building systems and project delivery methods.Experience as an integral team member in interdisciplinary planning and design environments.Location Consideration: This position may be based in Des Moines or St. Louis, with consideration for Denver, Iowa City, Madison, or Omaha.
