Senior Interior Designer/Space Planner

About the position The Designer/Space Planner will meet potential and existing clients to obtain their requirements and develop a space plan based on those requirements. They will prepare construction plans that are necessary for pricing, construction and permitting purposes. The candidate will support the company with Class A Office and Hospitality design projects inclusive of artwork, signage and FFE specification. Responsibilities Meet with potential and existing clients to determine space plan requirementsDevelop a space plan based on those requirementsGenerate pricing drawings to forward to Interior Construction Department to prepare construction estimatePrepare final set of drawings for construction and permitting purposesMeet with clients to select finishesCoordinate planning and construction process with all vendorsRequirements Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design5+ years of experience in commercial interiors and tenant developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated proficiency in Revit & AutoCADCompetency in application of commercial building and accessibility codesRegular attendance in-person/onsite is an essential function of the job
