Senior Interior DesignerArchitect

DBIs long-time client in San Francisco is seeking a Senior interior designer with extensive experience. Focused on commercial interiors you will work across clients of all types and scales in a growing and entrepreneurial studio. You will thrive and grow in this role through creative conception and ideation as a strong design-focused and open team ready to collaborate. Responsibilities: Generate program documents through client-facing meetings.Create space plansDevelop and execute contextual design stories and concepts.Collaborate with team members on furniture and finish selection and construction document production.Coordinate consultant and vendor drawings.Lead/coordinate construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.Manage client expectations and coordinate team and consultant communications.Generate business opportunity leads for the company.Manage various-sized teams.Knowledge of budget and schedule drivers both internally and externallyParticipate in multiple project teams simultaneouslyRequirements: 10 years of related experience as an interior designer with a focus on commercial interiorsMust be proficient in Revit and InDesignStrong knowledge of the design and documentation process including FF&E furniture systems and specifications color and materialsOutstanding graphic presentation skillsWillingness to focus on multiple projects in various stagesAbility to communicate design ideas and direction quicklyStrong leadership organizational communication and relationship management skillsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD SketchUp and PhotoshopBachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or related fieldKnowledge of local code and permitting requirements Required Experience: Senior IC Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
