Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This role will lead the design process for commercial office environments, from concept through installation, while collaborating closely with clients, sales teams, and project managers. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of workplace design, furniture systems, and client-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and space planning process for commercial office projects of varying sizes and complexityCollaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and functional requirementsDevelop innovative design concepts, presentations, and detailed specificationsCreate space plans, renderings, and installation drawings using design software (CET/Spec)Specify furniture, finishes, materials, and accessories aligned with project budgets and timelinesPartner with sales and project management teams to ensure seamless executionPresent design solutions to clients and stakeholders with confidence and professionalismStay current on industry trends, products, and workplace strategiesMentor junior designers and contribute to team developmentQualifications
Degree in Interior Design (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)5+ years of experience in commercial interior design (office furniture dealership experience preferred)Experience working in AutoCAD, CET Designer, Cap2020 or SPECStrong knowledge of office furniture systems, space planning, and workplace design trendsExceptional presentation, communication, and client management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentNCIDQ certification or working toward certification is a plusWhat We Offer
